Chocolate puffs

Having beat & sifted half a Pound of double refined Sugar scrape into it an ounce of Chocolate very fine & mix them together. Beat the White of an Egg to a very high Froth & strew in your sug[text loss] chocolate. Keep beating tile it be as stiff as Paste then sugar your Paper & drop them on about the Size of a Sixpence & bake them in a Very slow oven. HSpencer
