[T]ake Chisiel and rubb it well in to watter; Cover it up close, let it stand [9] nights in watter then [Str]ane all [inserted above: the great] [illegible] a haire [illegible] and let the white watter stand untill the next Morni ng, then put more watter to it, mix it well togeather to strain it through a fine Cloth for [strikeout] 3 mornings together, all the while you are straining of it keep [strikeout] stiring of it or it wont go through then take it up, lay it over a [illegible] to dry upon a cloth, [illegible] it at your [illegible]
