Take Bay leves Dry thm in an oven or before the fire & beat thm & cleane thm throw a fine five keep thm in a glass Stoped Close down A child of 4 or 5 yrs old may take as much as may ly heaped on a sixpence a child of ten or twelve as much as will fy on a shilling a Grown person as much as will ly on a half Crown mix the poder in a Spoon with either a litle ale or wine or Simple watter & drink a glas of Either wine or ale after it & take in a bout an hour in a litle more before the fit it is better to exceed in the quantity thn Abate it is so harm les a thing it is very Efectuall for the Colick or pain in the Stomach it must be continued longer if the Ague then 3 times - if it be a very stubern Ague it is very proper to take a vomit before you take the pouder and it may make it more Efectuall
