For ye Gravill [illegible] Spencers Resept
[girld] Garlick a quantity pounded in a Water
& [y]n freed in a quart of white wine Taken in
ye Morning fasting
glory thorn buds a quantity get an Earthen
pot & lay a Lare an inch deep yn a Lare of
Sliced Nutmegs which repeat till full fill it
up with White Wine & let it Stand [strikeout] [inserted above: 4] days
then distill it throw a Cold till sweeten it
to yr pallat with Sirop of Marck Mallows
