[inserted left margin: this will hand you to 5 pounds you may make it dy a pound] Take a quarter of a pound of log wood [y]n to Allom water the quarter & with one peny worth of Allom Must before the log wood be put in boyld a quarter of an houre the put in 3 quarters of a pound of wool & boyle in the log wood and Allom watter a quarter of an houre then take oute youre wool & put in to the dy 2 penyworth of verdigrece and the put in the wool a Gane & Smuther it Close [struck: then b[text loss]] then boyle Strong Chamberly & pore upon it. So lay it oute to Dry.
