Rx 12 Sheeps treekles newly made or git a quantity from the Butcher that kills a Sheep they will be found in the gutt put them into 45 Spoonfulls of Clarett wine let them soak 3 or 4 howers then -- take them out of the Wine & press them into it through a fine linen Cloth and drink it -- In great extremity & when the body is full of the humor give it every 2 howers till they are risen & come out a gain to a Child give 6 treacles to one of 16 give 12 to a strong man give 16. This is a Secret in Nature that adds life to life fortifies the heart -- Clarifyes the blood & throws[strikeout] out the Melignancy and Venome that is crept into it and lurks in it The best is [to] 50 or 60 treacles at a time and give a proportionable quantity.
