My Granmother[s] F: [L]ear Cloth.
Rx 4 ounces of red lead, 1 ounce of white lead 3 ounces of
Boalalmenack. halfe a pint of Oyle Olieve. mix all these to
geather e [strikeout] seet it on the fier, e when it is half a nuf put
in one ounce of Oyle of Exeter so let it simer a while longer
then put in your Cloths, e have a bord reddy oyld to ly them
on then anoint your hands with oyle e Clap them smouth
while they are hot on both sides.
