- Rx one galloun of small Beare or raine water in a Tub or Earthen pot to that add a pound of Gaules broken to peces next day put in half a pound of grene coppras and the day after that put in half a pound of Gum Arabeck stir it very often & in a weke you may use it but the older the beter & if you would have it shine put to this a pinte of Malagoe Sack and half a pound of loafe sugr
