Take a pound of fresh butter & a quart of strong ale & a good quantity of wormwoods boyl all theas to gather till it lookes green & then strain out the wormewood & let & let it stand till it be cold & then render it for yr use when you use it you must shave the hare and anoint all over the head with ointment & let them wear the same cloath thrice a day with it
