- [strikeout] Take malowes Chickenweed grounsell ale hoof hounds tonge leaves in the Sumer roots in the Winter spearmint Elder leaves Smalage plantain an handfull of every one Wash and chop them boyl them Get milk thicken it with gross oatmeal beaten when it is almost boyled put in a good handfull of red rose leaves & some Mutton suet shred small & boyl it a little longer till it be thck so use it hot every day - - after this use a searcloath
