- A remedy for treating horses using Daffy's elixir (a tincture possibly containing alcohol), laudanum, and almond or castor oil
- Transcript
- Take a Bottle of Daffy’s Elixir 1/4 or 1/2 an Oz of Liquid Laudanum and m[ix] them in a Bottle well together bleed the Horse in the Mouth and then give him as above and if convenience serves walk him a little in a Warm place and keep him warm with Cloths add to the above 2 oz of Oil of sweet Almonds but oil of Castor of great Virtue
