[top left margin: fo the 53] Take 3 Oz of Bark crushed not powdered 2 Oz Yellow rind of Seville Orange dried 2 Drams Snakeroot 4 [1]/2 drms saffron 1 dr [strikeout] Cochineal powdered- Infuse the above in one Quart of Brandy for five or six Days shaking the bottle now on then- strain the Tincture off for use
