- 2 pecks of Malt small Ground Mashed as for table Bear & coverd very Cloas for 3 or 4 hours- then put in Six Galons of Ale Grounds then as much Cold watter as will Temper it for barm then work & beat it in as you do for drink- let it be 3 or 4 days ear you still it to Every still full an hand full of Salt- when you still it over a Gain add a good quantety of Watter
