Elder Brandy Take a peck of Elder beries when they are full ripe put ym in to a pot & bake ym with boreted bread, take ye juce of ye berries & to 3 quarts of it but an ounce of mace & Cloves, let it simmer on a charcole fire till it be a syrop sciming it when it is cold put to it 6 quarts of Brandy & botele it for your use
