Rx a quart of the best huney: of boyleing water 4 quarts put to it so let it stand a Night & a day then boyle it half an houre [struck: in] and put it in an Earthen spicket pot when its colde Set on ale yest and when it workes [strikeout] beat it in 3 or 4 times when cleare draw it of and botele it up
