to make Stoutens drops- Mrs. Bridgett Take ye pill of 3 five [illegible] oranges 3 quarters of an ounce of jentian sliced & 2 peny worth of Seuchaneall & a quarter of an ounce of zirgina Snake Root put these Ingrediants in to a pinte of brandy Let it Infuse a week then take out a quarter of a pinte & put in another pint of Brandy by degrees still takeing out from ye Engredients as you put in fresh brandy & take fivety or sixty drops in ale wine or Tea
