Commentary on anthology
-
• "King and Milner's twenty-three plays are all from the 1950s and after[,] except one, Langston Hughes's brief 'Mother and Child.' The apparatus in Black Drama Anthology is minimal but the selections are excellent" (Kinnamon 1997: 476).
