Description
Letter from C. Harrison Mann to Board of Visitors, George Mason University of June 6, 1975. Mann attempts to make the Board aware of his objections to building on-campus housing at George Mason University. He argues that House Resolution 5, the document on which Mason was created, forbade it to build dormitories; they are expensive and not seen as favorable by the appropriations apparatus in Richmond; Mason might jeopardize future funding by asking for appropriations for on-campus housing; and that George Mason might risk other important development (in this case, a law school) by asking for dormitories. Four pages.
