Camp Livingston, Louisiana

Following the cancellation of the Army Specialized Training Program, Jerome Epstein, Jr. was briefly transferred to Camp Livingston, Louisianan for infantry training. While at Camp Livingston he was assigned to the 86th Infantry Division. After less than two months, Epstein was reclassified into the Signal Corps and transferred to nearby Camp Polk.
