Important Notes for Interpreting the Data of this Site: 1) Periodic updates to the digital resource will occur as more data about LFCC herbarium specimens are posted to the SERNEC Symbiota database over the 2021-2023 timeframe. 2) In some cases, the scientific name of the specimen in the notebook record does not match that of its herbarium label. This is due to nomenclatural changes that accrue after the original identification of the specimen. The most up-to-date names can be found on the SERNEC Symbiota database. 3) In some cases, a single notebook entry is associated with multiple herbarium specimens. These specimens are true duplicates. 4) This OmekaS installation was modified to include DarwinCore vocabulary, in order to integrate the indexed notebook page images with the Symbiota records of the herbarium specimens.
